Coalescence - The Coalition Newsletter

Coalescence has been designed to acknowledge the heartfelt work of community agencies in our region, and to engage members in compelling discussion around the intricacies of violence prevention.

With the various roots and manifestations of violence come a host of approaches.
Each agency is devoted to a particular aspect, their approach formulated by a particular schema, their theory rooted in a particular ism.

Certainly, it is unlikely that 30+ organizations will agree on all facets of violence prevention; as a coalition, our challenge is to build consensus, to coalesce in spite of theoretical variances.
